What we use

MakineYurdu uses only two categories of browser storage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.

1. Strictly necessary (always on)

Required for the site to function; these cannot be switched off and do not require consent under applicable law:

• Session cookie (better-auth.session_token and related) — keeps you signed in.
• Language cookie — remembers your Turkish/English preference.
• Cookie consent choice (my_cerez_tercihi, stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie) — remembers the choice you make in the banner so we don't ask again.

2. Analytics — only with your consent

If you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics (GA4) and set a random local session identifier (my_oturum_id, in local storage) to count page views and measure basic performance (load speed). We do not collect your name, e-mail, or IP address for this purpose, and Google Signals / advertising features are not enabled. If you click "Necessary Only", none of this runs.

Withdrawing consent

You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer, which reopens the banner.
